About Wickford Properties
Samara and Rita both born in the suburbs of Charlotte and raised in the construction industry started working in real estate in 2019 and quickly realized there was a gap in the market for home sellers looking for the personalized process of working with a real person but the convenience of selling to the large hedge funds for cash and all of the property owners who don’t want to (or can’t) sell through the traditional route with an agent.
Combining their knowledge and expertise of the local market, construction, and real estate they begun buying properties together in 2021, and Wickford Properties was born. Being female real estate investors in a male dominated industry they found they could accomplish more combining forces.
For years, the only option for most Charlotte house sellers has been to list their property on the market, try to sell it yourself, or hold on to it hoping the problem will go away.

Meet Samara, Co-Owner Wickford Properties
Samara grew up on a farm working with horses and bailing hay. While she was in college for business she helped out her dad in his concrete company in between classes. During this time she got to see the behind the scenes of running a construction company and fell in love with the industry and found her desire to expand on this. At age 22 she founded “House of Samara” and begin doing high end remodels and remodels for investors all over Charlotte and surrounding areas and using her real estate license to sell them for her investors. Still wanting to grow she turned to using her broad spectrum of expertise to buy and renovate properties for herself and is now a NC board licensed General Contractor.
Meet Rita, Co-Owner of Wickford Properties
Rita grew up in a small town in NC and started working in the real estate market is Charlotte at age 21 as a real estate agent, at age 22 she was the youngest recipient in history to be awarded Charlotte Regional Rookie Realtor of the Year and shortly after begin Coaching for Keller Williams Realty. With a career volume hovering around 40M in closed sales she still felt something was missing and soon discovered her passion for buying distressed houses and turning them back into homes while providing sellers with another solution to the traditional route and home buyers with a high quality home they can feel safe and confident in.
