About Wickford Properties
Samara and Rita both born in the suburbs of Charlotte and raised in the construction industry started working in real estate in 2019 and quickly realized there was a gap in the market for home sellers looking for the personalized process of working with a real person but the convenience of selling to the large hedge funds for cash and all of the property owners who don’t want to (or can’t) sell through the traditional route with an agent.
Combining their knowledge and expertise of the local market, construction, and real estate they begun buying properties together in 2021, and Wickford Properties was born. Being female real estate investors in a male dominated industry they found they could accomplish more combining forces.
For years, the only option for most Charlotte house sellers has been to list their property on the market, try to sell it yourself, or hold on to it hoping the problem will go away.

Meet Samara, Co-Owner Wickford Properties
Samara grew up working on a farm, spending her days with horses. While studying business in college, she helped run her dad’s concrete company, sparking a passion for construction. At 22, she founded House of Samara, specializing in high-end remodels and investor projects across Charlotte, using her real estate license to handle sales. Eager to keep growing, she began buying and renovating properties herself and is now a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina.
Meet Rita, Co-Owner of Wickford Properties
Rita, a North Carolina native, began her real estate career in Charlotte at 21. By 22, she became the youngest-ever recipient of the Charlotte Regional Rookie Realtor of the Year and soon started coaching for Keller Williams. With $40M in closed sales, she discovered her true passion: transforming distressed houses into quality homes, offering sellers a unique alternative and buyers a place they can trust and feel proud to call home.
